Advantages of Community Power

With the new Community Power Energy Plans, you will be eligible for rebates of up to $300 on your electricity bills over 3 years - minimising the cost of reducing your home's impact on our environment.

Purchasing GreenPower is a simple and effective action households, businesses and organisations can take to reduce the level of their individual greenhouse emissions. By signing up to an Community Power Energy Plan, you become part of a local initiative that is taking action on a local level.

GreenPower is Government accredited - ensuring that the energy comes from renewable sources such as wind and solar. By choosing government accredited renewable energy you can be certain that your efforts are reducing your greenhouse emissions, and actively supporting the development of Australia’s renewable energy industry.

By joining Community Power you are also eligible to receive our quarterly newsletter and access to our free energy management programs.

See the Community Power Energy Plans Brochure for more details on our offers to residents of Darebin, Moreland and Whitehorse.

Want to know how much the Community Power Energy Plans will cost you per year?*

Step 1:
Identify your average daily electricity usage (or closest to your actual usage) on the table below.

How?

Your average daily usage will be on your electricity bill, usually near a picture of a bar graph. Remember that your bills can vary throughout the year depending on the season and what appliances are being used. Winter bills can be higher than average due to more lighting, heating and hot water being used.

Step 2:
Choose what percentage of your home's electricity consumption you want sourced from renewable GreenPower sources.

Where the row from Step 1 intersects with the column from Step 2, this will indicate the additional cost, before rebates.
