Welcome to Community Power

Community Power is a local initiative of Darebin, Whitehorse and Moreland City Councils and the Moreland Energy Foundation, which aims to reduce community greenhouse gas emissions by increasing the uptake of GreenPower and promoting energy conservation. GreenPower is government accredited renewable energy from sources such as wind and solar- unlike standard energy produced from fossil fuels like coal, oil or gas.

With the new Community Power Energy Plans, you will be eligible for rebates of up to $300 on your electricity bills over 3 years - minimising the cost of reducing your home's impact on our environment.

Buying GreenPower is a simple and effective action that households, businesses and organisations can take to reduce their individual greenhouse gas emissions.
